BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, March 7 (Xinhua) -- A total of 337 stilt houses in the water village Kampong Ayer in the capital city of Brunei have been monitored following a series of house collapse incidents over the past years, a government minister said on Thursday at Brunei's Legislative Council.

Haji Muhammad Juanda, Brunei's minister of development, said that 101 houses were in need of repair, while another 202 houses required urgent repair. Additionally, 34 houses were categorized as satisfactory.
