Warehouse fire breaks out in Indonesia's West Jakarta

JAKARTA, May 18 (Xinhua) -- A major fire broke out at a warehouse owned by PT Surya Pasifik in West Jakarta, Indonesia, on Monday afternoon.

The fire was reported at around 2:23 p.m. local time, according to local authorities. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene.

The fire was classified as "red" status, indicating that the blaze had not yet been brought under control and required ongoing emergency response efforts.
