BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 26 (Xinhua) -- Brunei police arrested a 36-year-old Bruneian man and two foreign women aged 34 and 48 for alleged involvement in prostitution activities, local media reported on Thursday.
According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin, the operation was conducted in a hotel in a commercial area by police.
The three people were being investigated. If found guilty, they could face imprisonment of not more than one year and a fine of not more than 5,000 Brunei dollars (3,931 U.S. dollars).
